When you want to buy a drive shaft balancer, you may be confused by the variety of balancers on the market and the price difference between the balancers. Even if you have used balance machines for many years, it is not always clear what they really are. If you only listen to the manufacturer's introduction, you may be able to buy a balancing machine that is not suitable for you at a high price. The following small series on the user often ask a few questions, make some simple introduction, for your reference.
The balancing machine is an instrument for measuring the rotor imbalance, and is corrected according to the measurement result to improve the mass distribution of the balanced rotor, so that the vibration of the journal or the force acting on the bearing during the operation of the rotor is reduced to a prescribed range. Here's how to use the balancer. Fill the tires to the proper air pressure, remove the lead on the rim, remove the stones from the tire groove, and clean the rim.
Install the balance shaft with the tire mounting surface facing up, select the appropriate vertebral body, and lock the tire with the locking device. (The vertebral body must be aligned with the center hole. Otherwise the data may not be accurate.) Rotate the tire to the side of the balancer. The position light is fully illuminated (different models display differently). On the full bright side, the highest point of the rim is 12 points, and the corresponding number of lead blocks are knocked in. The other side is also the same. Repeat the steps after 4 until the balance The machine display is 0 (5 grams or less can be, because there is no lead block below 5 grams, the balance machine does not show the unbalance amount below 5 grams). After the balance is over, remove the tire.
Turn on the balancer power supply, pull out the ruler to measure the distance between the rim and the balancer, the rim width, the rim diameter, and input the measured data in turn.
Press the start button, the balance machine starts to rotate the tire, the measurement starts, be careful not to stand near the tire to avoid danger.
The balance machine measures the data and stops automatically.
The dynamic balancing machine is divided into two types: soft support and hard support. Compared with the two, the swing of the soft bearing balance machine is relatively soft. In the process of starting and stopping the drive shaft, the swing of the soft support will have very obvious vibration, and the hard-supported swing frame does not. In theory, the soft bearing balancer can achieve higher test accuracy. However, this is only distinguishable in extremely sophisticated tests. For the drive shaft balancing machine, the precision that the hard support can achieve is far beyond the actual needs. If the accuracy of a drive shaft balancer is found to be insufficient, it must be the result of other factors. Soft and hard supports are only a negligible factor in factors that affect balance accuracy.
1. Influencing factors of high precision:
Since all manufacturers have adopted microcomputer technology, the technology is very mature, and the error generated by the electronic measurement part has been negligible. The relationship between the accuracy of the drive shaft balance machine and the electronic part is very small. The main influencing factors are two, 1, the connection mode of the transmission shaft and the balance machine. 2. Balance machining precision of the spindle.
2, low speed and high speed:
With a soft-supported balancing machine, the speed must be more than three times the resonance speed to detect (the higher the speed, the higher the weight reduction rate), so generally higher speeds are used. For hard-supported balancing machines, the speed must be less than 3 times the resonant speed to work, so lower speeds (especially heavy-duty drive shafts) are generally used. The speed is also related to the sensitivity of the sensor used. If a sensitive sensor is used, a lower speed can be used. In the maintenance industry, if a lower speed is used, the driver tends to doubt the effect of the balance, so there is a tendency to increase the speed. When balancing the heavy-duty drive shaft, the speed of the hard-supporting balancer is generally low, and the driver easily suspects the balance effect, which leads to the popularity of the soft-bearing balancer. When you buy a balancing machine, don't just ask how high the machine can reach. Be sure to know the speed that can be achieved when balancing a large drive shaft such as Steyr.
3. Factors influencing the weight loss rate:
If the weight reduction rate of the balancing machine is relatively high, the balance can be completed with a small number of rotations, and the working speed is fast. The factors affecting the weight loss rate are: 1. Whether the calibration of the balance machine is accurate. 2. Whether the weight and position of the balance weight placed during operation are accurate. 3. The gap between the transmission shaft cross shaft and the telescopic sliding button.
